reinventing spaces since 1975

black & white Bungalow

The entrance, a stairway to heaven punctuated with an intricate decorative disc, sets the tone for the space. Made of cast aluminium, the disc is etched with concentric circles and finished with a rich rainbow patina , achieved by plating in brass and dipping into acid to oxidise the surface. Completely black when removed from the dip, the disc is then scrubbed back to reveal its underlying glow. One of a kind and radiant, it embodies the idea that when the story behind the art speaks to us and the work we do, and we live a good story.
Designing a swanky personal bar was a dedicated affair , a space layered with rich textures, vibrant colours, and contemporary gold detailing. Fully customised with floating shelves and a herringbone laminate covering, the bar carries a bold personality while remaining deeply personal.
Our intention for the kitchen was clear: to create something that didn’t look brand new. Instead, we combined a classic black-and-white palette with characterful wood grains, soft neutrals, and layers of detail , from woven and brass hardware to statement rattan pendants and a timeless marble countertop. The result feels like it has evolved naturally over time, subtly complementing the colonial architecture of the apartment.
In our eyes, there’s really nothing more dramatic than a black-and-white interior , a palette that brings clarity, contrast, and quiet drama to this space while allowing its stories and textures to take centre stage.
